Last movie seen was the last airbender. The movie was really bad and Noah Ringer couldn't act, but with a little more practice, I can expect the best from M. Night Shyamalan with the sequel. But did anyone notice that the fire nation was mostly Indian?

Hmmm I didn't know Avatar was now hitting the screens.
quite interesting~ and are there really indians in the cartoons?
if not, then it's lame/fake.

I actually want to write down INCEPTION but that would be lying,
I'm dying to watch it in 3D, but don't have the money~ : (

Last movie I watched was Step Brothers, a Will Ferell film,
quite nice.... when you're bored.

Re: The Last Movie You Have Seen

Post by masterjz on Sun Jul 25, 2010 11:08 pm

Just watched The Last Airbender in 3D tonight (but there's not much difference between 2D and 3D, Lolz FLOP)...it was an Ok movie for me...the plot and scripts are weak...the directing was really bad too (I just wish it'll be directed by someone else and not M. Night Shyamalan) ...just giving a decent flashy 3D effects to satisfy the movie goers.

But nevertheless I still enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the Cartoon version of it. Just looking forward for the "Book 2 : Earth" of this Trilogy and probably they'll have a good rebounce then.

Noah Ringer couldn't act

I can understand the kid's acting performance, for it's his first film, he's just a 14 year old kid with a first degree black belt in Taekwondo and auditioned for this and luckily got into the main casts.

But did anyone notice that the fire nation was mostly Indian?
Not only the director is Indian, now I understood why most casts in the Fire country were Indians...as you can see, the world was composed of Four Nations right? Each nation has its own diversity when it comes to culture, races and traditions...if you have noticed, Most water benders looked like Eskimos because they live in a Cold place..while several Earth benders looked like Chinese, Air benders is composed of a diverse of races too. Now I realized why most Fire Benders were Indians because Indians live in a Hot and Humid Country like India that's why most of them were Indians.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I actually want to write down INCEPTION but that would be lying,
I'm dying to watch it in 3D, but don't have the money~

It's a very good movie bro! I highly recommend it. Smile

The moment i stepped out of the theater i found myself dumbfounded and started thinking if i were in my own dream.
